A media Disabled Home - connecting multiple devices together on the long-range HD

If you have more than one high-definition (HD) for TV and a series of HD-capable "toy" then you may need a way to bring everyone together. The high-definition worth it really make a difference especially on large screens and the additional costs are usually. But the question is: how to connect all these devices together, making full use of its HD capabilities.

One way to achieve this is to use an HDMI matrix. These come in various configurations, but theThe most common are 4x2 and 4x4, 4 inputs and 2 outputs, 4 inputs and 4 outputs or means. An array allows you to connect any input to any output device. Not only that, but you can have any combination of input and output. For example, you may need 4 TVs and 2 SkyHD boxes, an array allows a SkyHD box 3 of the TV and the rest of the Sky Box to the TV more.

A matrix with HDMI HDMI connections mean that you only use HDMI cables, whichcan only be used up to 15 feet without a booster. This does not give you much freedom in obtaining equipment for the home especially if you find devices in separate rooms or do you run the cables along the walls, things in order. Long HDMI cables are also very expensive, especially those who want decent quality.

Another option is a connection over CAT5 Matrix HD enabled. This gives you the ability to play high-definition signals sent via standard CAT5 network cable -that is many times cheaper HDMI cable. These devices can also transmit 1080p at a distance of 50 meters! What should be enough for most families. You can also create a row in the repeater module, which will extend the distance up to 100 meters.

There is, then transferred and newer devices, the HDMI-over-IP. Note that this is not the same on HDMI CAT - which involved mainly with the CAT-cable as a cable without any network protocol.

HDMI-over-IPThe devices are really great in their specifications. They allow cable lengths up to 1000 meters and can transmit up to 200 devices compatible with all feature a standard Ethernet infrastructure.!

Not surprisingly, this power has a price and these devices are much more expensive than standard units HDMI only, it is good, some measurements before you buy to do either. However, this relatively new technology, so that prices fall in due time safely.
